SESAME STREET TRANSFORMERS
The OAC topic this week was "Worlds Combine". Here, I put my favorite Sesame Street characters, Bert and Ernie, in the style of the Transformers universe. Drawing in this style was not a natural thing - so I did heavy reference of the comic and toy art from the series.

This is hilarious... I love the concept! Ernie's row of spiked hair looks incredibly dangerous. The lighthing and colors and reflections and everything... just perfect. I also like that Bert's shirt hasn't lost its pattern. Nice stuff, Dave.
Awesome dude. One of the coolest things I've seen in a while. (Love your other posts too! Brilliant work!)

This might be the single greatest thing anyone has ever done with Sesame Street outside of "The Muppet Massacre".

It really does feel like promotional art for Transformers. Awesomely done!

Aww man great idea, concept and execution. You got the transformers' dynamics and composition allright. I love the colour palete. If I was to see his advertised on kids screen magazine I would surely watch it.
Say, by the way. What is the Oac? I apologize for my ignorance , but I'd like to see the other combos.
The OAC is short for Outsider Art Club. You can click onto it from my links. Thanks for all the nice comments. This was fun to do - and a challenge at the same time.
